Tennis Alberta is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom MacInnis as President, effective October 7, 2019.
Tom has assumed the Chair of the Board of Directors and was previously elected to the Board as VP Finance. Tom MacInnis is an independent businessman and currently serves on the board of directors of Bellatrix Exploration Ltd. (including audit committee), Canadian Premium Sand Inc. (including governance and compensation committee), and Crestwynd Exploration Ltd. (Chairman, including audit and governance committees).
Tom and his wife and 3 young boys are residents of Calgary, Alberta and are all active tennis players and members of the Calgary Winter Club.

In addition, Roderick Chisholm has been appointed as VP Finance, effective October 16, 2019. Roderick (“Rod”) Chisholm is the CEO and Managing Director of McBain Properties. Rod is also the President and CEO of his Corporate Finance and M&A Advisory firm Stonebirch Capital. Rod has been a C-Suite Executive in both public and private companies for over 15 years in the Oil and Gas Services, Technology and Real Estate related industries. Prior to that he was a Corporate and Commercial Banker in the energy and technology sector.
As an avid tennis player and golfer, in addition to ITF officiating, Rod has continued to volunteer his time as a Board & Committee Member at his various clubs (Calgary Winter Club, The Winston Golf and Country Club and Calgary Tennis Club).
