After a year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lexus of Edmonton 108th Alberta Open is back.  The tournament takes over the U of A Outdoor Tennis Courts at Michener Park (12111 51 Ave, Edmonton) from July 29 – Aug 2.

“Tennis Alberta is delighted to be resuming Alberta’s premium open level event,” says Alan Mackin, Executive Director.  “The Alberta Open is one of the oldest and most prestigious open level tennis tournaments held in Canada.”

This year’s tournament boasts nearly 200 entries in 20 Men’s and Women’s events. Players from Alberta and Canada, will come together for a weekend of competitive tennis and camaraderie. Tennis fans are encouraged to cheer on their favourite players all weekend free of charge.

Tournament finals are scheduled for Monday, August 2.
