Tennis Alberta introduces Kristina Sanjevic as Technical Manager, High Performance & Junior Player Development. In this role, Kristina will be responsible for leading the planning, development, evaluation, and management of all provincial programs and initiatives related to junior player development.

Prior to joining Tennis Alberta, Kristina worked as a tennis coach for 14 years at the Saville Community Sports Centre. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Recreation, Sport and Tourism from the University of Alberta, where she was captain of the Panda’s Tennis team. She led her team to two National Gold medals and was a five-time MVP recipient. She also received the prestigious Bakewell Trophy for Female Athlete of the Year. Earlier in her Tennis career she was a multiple provincial singles and doubles champion, she competed at the 2009 Canada Summer Games, and was a Canadian Doubles National Champion. She has competed in several ITF’s around the world where she captured three ITF doubles championships.

Kristina has a Tennis Canada Club Pro 2 Certification and a Cardio Tennis L1 Certification. She will start with Tennis Alberta in early December.

In addition to filling the role of Technical Manager, current Competitions Coordinator Derek van den Berg moves into the position of Technical Manager of Tournaments and Provincial Programming, and Kealy Litun fills the position of Communications and Community Relations Coordinator.
