The Alberta Open is the province’s longest-running tennis tournament and one of the most established in all of Canada. The tournament has run since 1906, only interrupted during WW1, WW2, the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the 2013 Alberta floods. The Alberta Open features “Open” level play with substantial prize money, as well as recreational and intermediate levels. This creates a mix of both high-stakes, thrilling play with a fun, community-focused atmosphere.
