Junior Competitions

Tennis Alberta provides competitive opportunities province-wide for juniors of all ages, play levels, and abilities. Interested players can find information about the upcoming tournament schedule as well as guidelines regarding tournament play.


2021-2022 Indoor Tournament Schedule

This schedule may be subject to change.Ā Tennis Alberta hopes to add tournaments to the 2021-2022 indoor schedule over the coming weeks/months, so that a full compliment of events can be scheduled across all age categories and levels.

**NOTE: Tournaments are typically open for registration one month prior.


2021-2022 Junior Competitive Structure

This document outlines guidelines for the 2021-2022 junior tournament schedule. Ā It takes effect October 2021 and will continue throughout the 2022 indoor/outdoor seasons.

Players, coaches and families are asked familiarize themselves with the information Ā before the start of the 2021-2022 Indoor season.

The Orange-Green Ball Circuit is a national program that provides competitive opportunities for U9/U10 players with an emphasis on participation.



A national program that provides junior players their first fun tournament experience. All players are guaranteed three matches and a player gift package.


The highest level of junior competition that aims to select the strongest players to represent Alberta at the national stage.


A provincial tour that helps develop the next generation of tennis stars and lifetime players. All players are guaranteed two matches.


The Respect in Sport Parent Program is an effective and informative course for parents and caregivers of active children. This program encourages positive sport behaviors, and provides insight into the roles of coaches and officials. The program is a prerequisite for all parents of juniors entering Tennis Alberta sanctioned competitions.
