The City of Calgary, Recreation and Tennis Alberta partnered to host a progressive Co-Ed Street Tennis opportunity in the Eau Claire Festival Market Square May 10th and 12th. As part of the #GetMovingYYC campaign, both the City of Calgary and Tennis Alberta encouraged people to include physical activity into their work day. Calgary did not disappoint as we had no trouble enticing Calgarians to take part in some street tennis. It didn’t seem to matter if participants were dressed in active gear, business casual or a fancy designer suit, everyone who played left with a smile. The feedback we received was incredible and we’ve already begun discussing additional opportunities.
