The Provincial U10/U12 Regroupings are designed to assemble Alberta’s top junior players for collective training and competition in a structured, high-performance environment. Tennis Alberta recognizes the importance of providing quality developmental and competitive opportunities that complement athletes’ regular club programming.
In collaboration with key provincial and national partners, Tennis Alberta has established this regrouping-based program to enhance the development pathway for Alberta’s leading U10 and U12 athletes.
Program Objectives:
- To provide meaningful and developmentally appropriate competitive opportunities.
- To engage provincial coaches with demonstrated experience in performance-level athlete development.
- To strengthen communication and collaboration among coaches, clubs, and parents.
- To increase the depth and breadth of competitive athletes throughout the province.
Through the regrouping of Alberta’s top players, the program seeks to deliver consistent access to high-quality training and match-play experiences while fostering a cohesive and supportive provincial tennis network.
