The 2026 Alberta Summer Games will be held in Strathcona County from July 16-19. After a multi-year hiatus, tennis will return to the mix.
This event has been a fixture in the provincial sport community for over 50 years, bringing together thousands of young athletes to compete in a professional environment that includes an opening ceremony, an athletes’ village, and high-level competition. The 2026 Games are expected to feature 3,000 athletes.
Thanks to the Government of Alberta, who will provide an $820,000 operating grant to the host society, players will enjoy a prestigious atmosphere that mimics an Olympic-style event.
