Alberta tennis players dominated at recent Canadian ITF tournaments.
Jen Cherneski won ITF 400 Langford 2022 BC Senior Provincials singles and doubles (with partner Mary Manley). Cherneski is currently ranked #51 in the world in the 50+ category.
Alberta juniors won big at the ITF J5 Kamloops:
- Sophie Stanton, with Partner Gabriella Rawles (GBR), Girl’s Doubles Winner
- Madelynn Ludwig, with partner Juhnyee See (USA), Girl’s Doubles Finalists
- Chetanna Amadike, with partner Keegan Rice (CAN), Boy’s Doubles Winners
- Chetanna Amadike, Boy’s Singles Finalist
Congratulations to all the players competing in ITF tournaments. Next up, Alberta hosts two Junior ITF tournaments – J3 Calgary (June 20 – 25) & J4 Edmonton (June 27 – July 1).
