SwingVision

Tennis Alberta is pleased to announce that SwingVision is now the Official Player and Ball Tracking App of Tennis Alberta. Using just a single smartphone, the SwingVision app provides real-time shot tracking, video analysis and line challenges, offering coaches and players a way to view, assess, share, and improve their tennis game.

Tennis Alberta members will now have access to a $20 (USD) annual discount on a yearly SwingVision ‘Pro’ subscription. Tennis Alberta member coaches with an active TPA membership will receive a complimentary annual subscription to SwingVision ‘Pro’.

SwingVision’s app provides game-enhancing tracking for tennis players,” says Alan Mackin, Tennis Alberta Executive Director.  “Our partnership with SwingVision offers our members a value-added service to help them better their game and enhance tennis performance levels. Tennis coaches will possess an innovative tool that will enable objective coaching feedback to be provided to players of all ages and abilities.’’

“We’re delighted to partner with Tennis Alberta and can’t wait to get SwingVision on every court in Alberta,” SwingVision CEO Swupnil Sahai said. “SwingVision’s comprehensive, portable solution will enable entirely new experiences for tennis players of all levels that will make the sport more fun, fair and accessible than ever before.”

Shot Tracking Video

SwingVision’s patented A.I. provides real-time shot tracking, video analysis and line challenges using footage from a single camera. Players can use SwingVision to track their scores point-by-point, create highlights of their best rallies and get detailed analysis of shot patterns, placement, and accuracy. Apple Watch users can also challenge line calls in real-time, with a slow motion replay and decision shown right on their wrist. Players can improve their games by reviewing video footage shot-by-shot or point-by-point, and accessing coaching advice after every session.

In addition to the member discount, SwingVision has generously provided 15 yearly subscriptions. Tennis Alberta will be giving away the subscriptions throughout the year.

SwingVision is the Official Player and Ball Tracking App of Tennis Australia, LTA and ITA. It is backed by investors Andy Roddick and James Blake, and its patented A.I. is built by experts from Tesla and Apple.

Tennis Alberta aims to inspire, promote and deliver quality opportunities for participation in tennis in Alberta. Effective January 1, 2022, Tennis Alberta has added additional benefits for its members to help them to continue to enjoy the game of tennis and a healthy, active lifestyle.
