Tennis Alberta offers Full Member Club and Associate Member Club added benefits for their annual membership. We aim to partner with Member Clubs to offer programming and services that match the needs of the organization. Club Memberships run annually from January 1 to December 31.

Full Club Members are any organization which provides access to tennis facilities and charges members an annual fee. Full Club Membership runs annually from January 1 – December 31.
FULL CLUB MEMBERSHIP FEES (for 2023)*
- $285 per outdoor court
- $560 per indoor court

- Public Liability Insurance Members receive a comprehensive insurance package that provides value that exceeds the annual membership fee.
- Financial Club Reward Program Benefit from Tennis Alberta’s financial incentive program.
- Sanctioned Competitions Tennis Alberta sanctions competitions for all ages and levels across the province. Members can host competitions to bring the excitement of tournament play as well as increase their club’s visibility.
- Tennis Alberta Voting Ballots and Board Nominations Member clubs can vote at Annual General Meetings thus contributing to the support of Tennis Alberta. Members of Full Member Clubs can be nominated to the Tennis Alberta Board of Directors.
- Volley Newsletter Subscription Complimentary access to Tennis Alberta’s Volley E-Newsletter.

- Facility Grants Opportunity to apply for facility development funding through Tennis Canada’s capital investment program.
- Tennis Development Centre Program Receive support and be rewarded for your achievements in developing provincial, national, collegiate and international players.

- Tennis Day in Canada Join 180 other tennis venues in delivering a Tennis Day in Canada open day event with 80% of participating clubs reporting new players at their events.
- Tennis for Kids A highly successful initiative that helps registered venues and accredited coaches support more children learning to play and enjoy tennis.
- Kids Tennis Take advantage of support and resources in delivering high quality coaching programs for children.
RUNNING COMPETITIONS
- Team Tennis Provides players of all ages with regular league matches in a competitive team environment.
- Road to Nationals Stage a tournament at your venue that feeds into the biggest junior tournament in Canadian tennis.

- Marketing Advice Access to marketing advice and tips to grow the presence of your programs.
- Club Development Workshops Club workshops support the training and development of clubs on a range of topics.
- Club and Coach Forums Local forums to support registered venues and accredited coaches.
FINANCIAL INCENTIVE AND REWARD SYSTEM
Full Member Clubs will receive compensation based on the number of individual club members that also have a Tennis Alberta Paid Individual Membership. Membership targets and compensation models set for Full Club Members are as follows:
- Over 250 Tennis Alberta Members = 20% refund
- Over 350 = 40% refund
- Over 500 = 70% refund
- Over 700 = 90% refund
*NOTE: Membership fees are due January 31st (indoor courts) and March 31st (outdoor courts). Fees will increase to $575/indoor court and $300/outdoor court.
Any organization which promotes and supports tennis in Alberta but does not charge annual fees for access to tennis facilities or services is considered an Associate Member. This includes seasonal tennis courts, community leagues and recreational groups. Associate Membership runs annually from January 1 – December 31.
