Tennis Alberta is looking for a Sports Coordinator to join our team for the 2026 summer season. This role focuses on program development and implementation, with a primary emphasis on our community and grassroots engagement programs.

The position is based in Edmonton and is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant. Candidates must be between 15 and 30 years of age and be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person with refugee status. This is a full-time, 8-week contract, with a potential extension available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of key programs, such as Tennis in Schools, Rogers First Set, Try Tennis, Wheelchair Tennis, New Canadians Engagement, and U10/U12 Development.
  • Competitions support, including tournament registration logistics, participation tracking, and event promotion.
  • Research and analysis of program metrics to provide recommendations for new initiatives.
  • Administration and digital support, including website updates and contributing to the email newsletter and social media as needed.
