Players, coaches, and spectators flocked to the Saville Tennis Centre August 1st to 5th to participate in this year’s Alberta Open (350) tournament. Nearly 200 players came from across the province to compete.

The matches were intense, and the atmosphere was electric all weekend long.

Women’s Open Singles champion, Jacqueline Lam, blasts a forehand on finals day. Jacqueline battled and upset first seed, Felicia Pham, to earn herself the title.
Men’s Open Singles winner, Liam Spiers, makes a volley on finals day. Liam would be crowned champion after a fierce battle, defeating Alex Vukovic  6-4, 7-6 in the final.
