Tennis Alberta announces HEAD Canada Sponsorship
Tennis Alberta is pleased to announce a new sponsorship agreement with HEAD Canada effective January 1, 2019.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to partner with Tennis Alberta and support their efforts to promote and grow the sport of tennis in Alberta,” says Jeff Bardsley, Vice President Racquet Sports, HEAD Canada. 
The sponsorship agreement makes HEAD Canada’s racquets and their Pro Penn Marathon ball the exclusive ball and racquet of Tennis Alberta and the Alberta OPEN. In addition, HEAD Canada will provide funding support for Tennis Alberta’s programming and tournaments. They will also be the official sponsor for the Alberta OPEN.

This support will help us to enhance current programming and develop additional provincial programming. This partnership is a win-win for our Alberta tennis community,” says Peter Ogilvie, Executive Director of Tennis Alberta.
Tennis Alberta member clubs will receive an exclusive discount on HEAD racquets and Penn balls.
“The Pro Penn Marathon ball is one of Penn’s premium ball models and currently the model used by the Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia Tennis Associations,” comments Bardsley.
